AI sets the tone for the summer season

The month of June opened up the crypto summer season and one particular topic took the limelight: Artificial Intelligence.

Cogito’s co-founder and CSO, Ben Goertzel, took centre stage at SuperAI in Singapore, joined virtually by Edward Snowden. The two engaged in exciting discussions about AI for Good.

They started by highlighting the current race to develop AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) and the concerns surrounding control. 

The proposed countermeasure to centralising power in the hands of few again is to develop AGI on a decentralised network, with other key benefits showcased during the panel.
